Piedmont Youth Mountain Bike Race Series!

We had a great time last year, and we're ready for more!

This year, each race is only $10!

The goal of PYMBL is to introduce kids to racing in an encouraging, fun environment.

Although most 'adult' races will have a "kids race", in our experience, too often it's done as an afterthought, with all the kids under 14 lumped together and run in a grassy field while waiting for the results to be processed for the 'real' races.

We want to give the kids the same single track racing experience we love, just scaled down and against kids their own age and skill level, so the races are challenging and exciting. We've kept the costs low - kids 6 and under are free - and we encourage parents to ride along (just watch your back, these kids are faster than you think!)

The idea is to promote good sportsmanship and doing your best. Any kid who enjoys riding is probably doing all the training they need to be doing at this point. And who knows? - this series may help serve as a stepping stone to participating in series such as the Southern Classic, or even in a NICA league, if we get one started here in NC.
