-Racing age is determined by age on December 31, 2015
-Although we have the categories set up by age, we would encourage racers to race at their skill level. Therefore, a racer may change categories once, if necessary, during the season. If a racer moves up a category, they may take their points with them. A racer may move down a category and take 50% of their points with them. If a racer has finished in the top 50% of the field in their current category, they may not move down a category. If it is determined that a racer would be competitive in a higher category, they may be asked to consider moving up - we won't force anybody to move up, but.... Remember, it's about being competitive and having fun, not sandbagging and crushing souls. Plenty of time for that when you get older ;-)

-There will be separate categories for boys and girls, but they will all race together in their age category.

-Medals will be awarded in each category for the top 3 boys and top 3 girls for each race  (*in addition, all racers 6 and under will receive a certificate of completion)

-Overall Series Winner will be based on the highest number of points determined by 4 races.

-Medals and Prizes for the overall Series Winners will be awarded in each category for the  top 3 boys and top 3 girls.

-Racers must be present at the final race to receive Overall Series awards/prizes
